What is AI?

Father of Artificial Intelligence, John McCarthy says, it is “The science and engineering of making intelligent machines, especially intelligent computer programs”.

Artificial intelligence (AI), the ability of a machine or computer to execute tasks associated with intelligent beings. AI is a subdivision of computer science that targets to create intellectual machines. Now a days, it has become a vital part of the technology industry.

Intelligence includes knowledge, intellectual, problem solving, perception and language. It is an ability of learning and solving problems. Research allied with artificial intelligence are highly technical and specialized.

Now a days, AI has been popular in many fields and industries, including finance, healthcare, education, transportation, and more.

Overview of AI

There will not be any second thought on, an individual’s life has become more convenient from primary revolution of AI.

While taking benefits of the power of the computer systems, the interest of human, leads him to wonder, “Can a device imitate or perform identical to what an individuals do?” Thus, the development of AI started with the goal of creating similar intelligence in machines that we find and regard high in humans.

AI is accomplished by studying how human brain thinks, and how humans learn, decide, and work while trying to solve a problem, and then use the outcomes of this learning as a basis of developing intelligent software and systems. Core part of AI includes machine learning.

      Capture and process information that individuals usually have but it is not clearly transferred.

    • Learning Systems -

      Capacity to express and expand knowledge based on the gathered experience.

    • Natural Language Understanding Systems -

      Machine reading intellectual capacity.

    • Intelligent Robots -

      Achieve intellectual behavior with least human interference.

    • Speech and Vision Recognition Systems -

      Ability to identify words and phrases in spoken language and convert them to a machine-readable format.

  1. Data Ingestion -

    AI systems deal with huge amount of information, frequently in excess of billions of records, coming in at high speed.

  2. Flexible -

    AI systems are flexible and adapt to their environment with machine learning.They detect their results and make them to do superior.

  3. Approachable -

    AI systems respond to fluctuating environments around them. Unlike traditional applications that are more batch-oriented (you plan them, they run, store their outcomes, and are then shut down), AI applications continuously monitor their inputs, often from flowing data platforms, and when certain conditions apply, they raise procedures, rules, and behaviors and make decisions based on it.

  4. Revolutionary -

    AI systems react to what they often search through a space of possible scenarios to reach an effective goal. To do this, they are taking multiple prominent steps into the future.

  5. Synchronized -

    AI systems, just like traditional applications, handle multiple individuals or systems interacting at the same time. They use practices accepted by those emerging distributed systems in the fields of operating systems and databases.

Trends of Artificial Intelligence

  1. In current and couple of next years, AI systems will get more attention and individual will start taking note of it.

  2. AI technology will further be easily accessible to everyone.

  3. Progress in the developer tools for AI and deep learning will be significant.

  4. AI community will take note and continue to address individual’s anxiety about the secrecy and moral principles.

  5. Deep learning, research and new algorithms will lead to remarkable results. They will be the highlights of AI technology.

Hazards of Artificial Intelligence

  1. An organization can misjudge the time, information, and facts or records required to efficiently implement AI System, which could lead to huge loss.

  2. It requires expert team to manage AI system efficiently and understand the vision of system.

  3. Machines cannot imitate human cleverness as it is natural gift received to individual. An inbuilt characteristic of the human brain cannot be replicated.

  4. AI systems cannot be enriched with the experience.
